Avoid Nets to prevent damage to fins and slime coat

Use a Gaff, Pliers or other tool to remove hooks boatside while fish is still in the water

Use single hooks 3/0 or smaller to minimize damage

Use larger profile lures to reduce attractiveness to smaller fish

Avoid inline flashers/Utilize dummy flashers on downrigger balls

AVOID SMALL FISH

Change areas, gear or depths fished when encountering sub-legal fish or unexpected species
